How Book of Dead works

The game has five reels, three rows and 10 paylines. Play'n GO notes that the number of active lines can be set anywhere from one to 10.

Wild and scatter. One symbol acts as both wild and scatter. As a wild it substitutes for other symbols; landing three scatters triggers free spins.

Free spins. The feature awards 10 free spins. Before they begin, one regular symbol is chosen at random to act as a Special Expanding Symbol for the whole round. It expands when it can add to a payout on active lines, and expanded symbols do not need to sit on adjacent reels to pay. Three or more further scatters during the round award another 10 free spins.
