How Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness works

Tome of Madness ties its features to a meter that fills as symbols are cleared.

Clusters and cascades. Four or more matching symbols that touch each other pay. They are then removed and replaced, so a single spin can produce several wins.

The portal. Every symbol removed charges a portal meter. Reaching each of three tiers triggers a different effect: Abyss removes a row and a column, Void removes every symbol of one type, and the third tier brings in an oversized Cthulhu wild.

Wilds. The Tome of Madness symbol acts as a wild, and the Rich Wilde symbol adds a multiplier.

Other World. Filling the portal completely leads to a free round played under different rules.
