We rank sources by authority: regulators, legislation and government first, then provider documentation, then reputable news, then secondary sources. Every factual claim is cited. Opinion is labelled. Pages show published, updated and fact-checked dates. Errors are corrected openly. AI tools may assist drafting, but every page must be reviewed by a human editor before publication, and no advertiser influences coverage.

Purpose of this policy
This policy describes how KiraBet researches, writes, reviews and maintains its content. It applies to every page, including guides, news, data profiles and regulation pages.
If a page falls short of this policy, we treat that as an error to correct.
Sourcing hierarchy
We rank sources by how close they are to the original facts. When sources disagree, the higher tier takes precedence, and we say so on the page where the difference matters.

Further rules:
- We only cite sources we have opened and read. Each source list shows the publisher, the source's own date where stated, and the date we accessed it.
- If a value cannot be confirmed, we leave it blank or mark it as not verified. We do not estimate RTP, volatility, release dates, licence details or legal positions.
- Legal and regulatory statements are linked to the primary text wherever one is publicly available.
- We do not describe the legal position of gambling in the Maldives outside the dedicated page on the proposed gambling offence in the Maldives.
Separating facts from editorial judgement
Factual statements carry an inline citation to the source that supports them.
Editorial judgement, such as an explanation of what a rule means in practice, is written as analysis and not presented as fact. Quick answers and key facts boxes contain only sourced facts.
Worked examples use invented figures to illustrate a calculation. They are always labelled as hypothetical and never describe a real offer or a real result.
We do not call anything the "best", and we do not publish rankings designed to promote an operator. Scores on operator profiles come only from the recorded criteria described in how we review.
How dates work on our pages
Each page can show three dates:
- Published – when the page first went live.
- Updated – when the page last changed in substance, such as a new fact, a corrected figure or a rewritten section. Typo fixes and layout changes do not change this date.
- Fact-checked – when an editor last checked every factual claim on the page against its cited sources. This date is shown only when every factual claim has a source. If any claim lacks one, the page shows no fact-checked date until the gap is fixed.
Sources show their own publication or update dates where stated, plus the date we accessed them.
Corrections
Anyone can request a correction by emailing editorial@kirabet.xyz. Please include the page address, the statement concerned and, if possible, a source.
When we receive a request:
- An editor checks the claim against the cited source and any new evidence supplied.
- If the page is wrong, we correct it and change the updated date.
- Material corrections, meaning changes to a fact, figure, legal statement or score, are noted at the end of the page with the date and a short description of what changed.
- Minor fixes, such as spelling, are made without a note.
Correction requests are read by an editor and acknowledged as soon as we reasonably can. We do not remove correction notes once published.
Conflicts of interest
Anyone who writes, edits or reviews content for KiraBet must declare any interest that could affect their judgement. That includes employment by, shareholdings in, or payments from gambling operators, game providers, payment companies or affiliate businesses.
A person with a declared conflict does not write, edit or review content about the organisation concerned. We do not accept gifts, hospitality or payment in exchange for coverage.
Use of AI tools in drafting
AI tools may be used to help organise research, produce first drafts, check consistency or suggest structure. They are not treated as a source of facts.
Our policy is that every page must be reviewed by a human editor before publication. That editor checks each factual claim against its cited source, removes anything that cannot be verified and is responsible for the published page.
AI tools must not be used to invent people, credentials, quotes, reviews, statistics or sources. Bylines name a person only when that person wrote or reviewed the page; otherwise the page is credited to the KiraBet Editorial Desk.
Commercial separation
No advertiser, operator or provider can influence what we cover, what we say or how anything is scored.
This edition of the site carries no affiliate links, sponsored content or paid placements. The affiliate disclosure explains our position and how any future change would be announced.
Responsible gambling standards
We do not publish invitations to gamble, bonus codes or claims that any game or approach leads to winning. Gambling involves financial risk, and our content says so where relevant.
