Speed Baccarat

Speed Baccarat keeps the basic shape of baccarat: bets are placed on Player, Banker or Tie, and the hand with a value closest to 9 takes the round.

What changes. To shorten each round, cards are dealt face up and the time spent showing results is kept to a minimum. Evolution states that a Speed Baccarat round takes 27 seconds, compared with 48 seconds for a standard baccarat game round.

Why pace matters. Shorter rounds mean more rounds can be played at the table in the same amount of time. At an unchanged bet size, that also means more money staked per hour, which is worth keeping in mind when setting a time or spending limit.
