How Free Bet Blackjack works

Free Bet Blackjack changes how doubling and splitting are paid for.

Free double downs. Evolution states that a free double down is offered on hard totals of 9, 10 or 11. The extra stake is covered by the house, and the player keeps the winnings if the hand wins.

Free splits. A free split is offered on any pair except tens, jacks, queens and kings.

How it is offered. The option appears automatically whenever a hand qualifies, rather than having to be requested.

Side bets and seats. Evolution lists optional Perfect Pair and 21+3 side bets and a Bet Behind feature that lets a player back another seated player's hand. An Infinite version removes the wait for a seat.
