Company overview
Nolimit City develops video slots. A company history published on its own site says Nolimit City was founded in 2013 by a group of industry veterans, released its first game, Oktoberfest, in 2016, obtained a Malta Gaming Authority licence in 2019 and signed a content distribution agreement with Microgaming in 2021. The site states that Nolimit City is part of the Evolution group, and Evolution's timeline records the acquisition in 2022.
The operating company named on the site is Nolimit City Limited, registered in Malta with company number C 54001 and an address at Spinola Park in St Julian's.
The studio's games are built around a set of named mechanics that recur across the catalogue: xWays, which reveals several copies of one symbol in a single position; xNudge, which nudges a wild into full view and adds a multiplier for each nudge; xSplit, which splits symbols; and xBomb, which removes symbols and raises a multiplier. Most titles also offer the Nolimit Bonus, a feature buy that the site says can be removed in markets where it is not permitted.
Nolimit City publishes an unusually full specification for each game, including RTP, maximum win as a multiple of the bet, hit frequency, bet range, release date and the odds of triggering the bonus. Titles in this database include Deadwood, Punk Rocker, San Quentin xWays, Fire in the Hole xBomb, Mental, Tombstone R.I.P and The Crypt 2.
